First, The Logistics
The shop will close when most items sell through or sales slow down. There is currently no precise timeline.
If you want to buy directly from us, now is your last chance. We won't be restocking anything.

It's time to be real
Mintlodica was something I took on to spend time on what I enjoyed doing. However, it turns out that running a business is 99% not creative work.
Also, when forced to stay within the same medium and aesthetic, I've learned that the creativity also became work. Keycap design no longer brings any enjoyment.
My birthday present to myself this year is giving myself permission to officially move on and eventually close shop.
I would love for Mintlodica to have a new home
This is something I've thought numerously about and for the right new owner, I'd love for Mintlodica to continue on.
Here are the highlights of what you'd get:
-
Ownership of all the designs. You'll be free to do what you wish with all Mintlodica designs. Years have already been invested into protecting the IP as Trademarks and Registered Copyrights.
-
Sales are entirely 1P. In-stock inventory moves despite minimal marketing. The majority of the site traffic is direct visits and organic search (SEO). Should you nurture the brand with any effort, there may be opportunity for growth.
-
Minimal existing overhead. Are you an existing player in the space? You'd be able to integrate Mintlodica into your operations without duplicating costs such as 3PL, lawyers, accounting, and customer support.
Important note
This is not a fire sale. I'd rather hold onto to the legacy, than sell to just any party.
Get in touch about becoming the new owner
If you'd like to seriously explore becoming the next home for Mintlodica, send us an email at [the founder's first name] at mintlodica . com
Simply let me know you want to be on the list of interested parties and an optional quick introduction, if we aren't acquainted already. I'll follow-up with the offering information, once it's ready.
Please note that I am a team of 1. Meaning, I will need time to thoughtfully reply to serious inquiries.
Thank you
Despite the challenges, I'm ultimately grateful for this era. It did net 2 celebrity moments, best friends for life, and forced me to set myself up for a future where I have true creative freedom the next time around.
Thanks for your support throughout the years, especially those who were there before the keycaps era. I learned a lot and it did get me to the person I am today.
